A technology company in Cambridge is seeking a Software Engineer to design and develop tools that assist developers on Arm-based platforms. This role involves both low-level and high-level programming, solving complex technical problems, and mentoring junior team members. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in C programming and embedded development experience. This position offers a hybrid working model and the chance to work with innovative technologies.
Job Overview
Arm technology powers everything from ultra-low-power IoT sensors to hyperscale cloud servers. In the Developer Platforms group, we build tools that help developers unlock the full potential of our architecture. We accelerate the first steps with new technologies, without losing sight of the path to production scale.
We take a holistic view of the developer journey, letting the problem space guide what we build. Our work has included CLI tools, web applications, VS Code extensions, language servers, and ML visualisation plug-ins.
Our current focus is on heterogeneous multi-processor systems and custom container runtimes. We're seeking candidates who can bring embedded systems expertise to our team of polyglot developers.
This is a unique opportunity to work across a wide range of technologies, transforming complex developer problems into intuitive solutions.
