Job summary

Evera Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer for a multinational group focused on battery management systems. You will work on BMS software, electronics, and module development across the full product lifecycle.

The role requires strong embedded C skills, experience with safety RTOS and automotive standards, and hands-on tooling for debugging and CI/CD. A proactive problem-solver who can work independently will thrive in this fast-paced team.

Qualifications

Degree in Software Engineering or related discipline.
Strong embedded C skills on TI TMS570 or ARM MCUs.
Experience with safety-focused RTOS such as SafeRTOS or FreeRTOS.
Experience developing to ISO 26262 and the V-model, including MISRA C, unit testing and code coverage.
Background in high-integrity automotive/HV applications.

Responsibilities

Write C code for drivers and safety features on TI TMS570 and ARM MCUs.
Implement safety features of SafeRTOS per safety requirements.
Create and own low-level design documents; support integration of auto-generated code and AUTOSAR.
Carry out unit testing and static analysis per MISRA, CERT-C and MAAB.
Debug using Lauterbach, Tasking, Vector CANalyzer and ETAS INCA; assist issue resolution.
Write Python, CAPL and batch scripts to automate build, test and development processes.
Manage software via SVN and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
