Job summary

Evera Recruitment Ltd is assisting a multinational client by hiring a Senior Embedded Software Engineer. The role focuses on battery management systems for vehicle traction batteries, covering software, electronics, module and pack development, and activities across the full product lifecycle.

You will develop C code for drivers on TI TMS570 and ARM MCUs, implement safety features with SafeRTOS, and create low-level design documents.

Qualifications

A degree in Software Engineering or a related discipline.
Strong embedded C skills on TI TMS570 or ARM MCUs.
Experience with safety-focused RTOS such as SafeRTOS or FreeRTOS.
Experience in ISO 26262 and V-model, MISRA C, unit testing, and code coverage.

Responsibilities

Write C code for drivers and safety features on TI TMS570 and ARM-based MCUs for the main BMS product.
Implement safety-related features of SafeRTOS in line with safety requirements.
Create and own low-level design documents and support integration of auto-generated code and AUTOSAR-based software.
Carry out unit testing and static analysis per MISRA, CERT-C and MAAB.
Debug using Lauterbach, Tasking, Vector CANalyzer and ETAS INCA; support issue resolution.
Write Python, CAPL and batch scripts to automate build, test and development processes.
Manage software through version control (SVN) and CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps and Jenkins.
