Job Description:

We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join a dynamic company specializing in monitoring and sensor technology with applications across various industries. This role is based in Widnes and involves initial contract work for 6 months, with potential for extension or permanence.

The company is expanding its engineering team to support growth and deployment across Europe, America, and North Africa. The successful candidate will work on-site, ideally commuting daily or staying a few days a week if remote work is considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain embedded software in C and Python.
• Work within Linux-based environments with microcontrollers.
• Implement and troubleshoot MQTT protocols within IoT ecosystems and work with RestAPIs.

Requirements:

• Experience with Embedded C programming.
• Python programming skills are a plus.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and microcontrollers.
• Experience with MQTT and RestAPI integration.
