Job description

Please note: this role is 5 days per week in Rotherham

A manufacturing firm is looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer who is a motivated and enthusiastic team player to be part of their growing team. The role will involve designing, testing, and maintaining high-quality code within their products.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Research, design, develop, and debug software solutions for new and existing products and features.
  2. Provision of a full set of technical documentation for allocated projects and support for those projects where future design changes are required.
  3. Ensure product designs and code conform to all relevant standards pertaining to safety, functionality, and performance.
  4. Ensure new code and updated code are fully tested with no regressions.
  5. Participate in code and design reviews.
  6. Investigate and resolve issues within the code.
  7. Provide ongoing support to all stakeholders, including customers.

The successful candidate will need to have commercial experience working with C++, C, and Embedded Linux.
