Job summary

PVH, Cambridge-based consultancy, seeks a Senior Embedded Linux Engineer to translate ambitious concepts into robust, high-integrity platforms. You will work on embedded software for aerospace/space-like applications, mentoring junior engineers and acting as Design Authority for software workstreams.

The role requires deep C/C++ expertise, strong Linux (Yocto/PetaLinux), knowledge of ARM/STM32 microcontrollers, and experience with hardware interfaces (SPI/I2C/UART/CAN).

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems.
• Extensive experience developing for embedded platforms ( ARM, STM32, or similar).
• Solid understanding of Embedded Linux (Yocto/PetaLinux).
• Ability to design scalable, robust software using UML and engineering practices.
• Interfacing with on-board FPGAs and protocols ( SPI, I2C, UART, CAN ).
• Experience with Python or MATLAB for algorithm development and testing.
• Awareness of Low-SWaP constraints for drone/space applications.
• Background in Signal Processing or Robotics (ROS/ROS2).
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and act as Design Authority.
