Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Electronics Systems Engineer to join our team in Plymouth or Bristol, UK (Hybrid). You will apply expertise in mixed-signal design and system-level integration to develop high-performance IMUs and MEMS sensor technologies.

You will work with a cross-disciplinary team, leveraging FPGA/DSP, analogue design, and E-CAD tools to deliver reliable products and test equipment across the full lifecycle, while contributing to mission-critical projects with global

Qualifications

• A minimum 2:1 Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Strong theoretical understanding of analogue electronics.
• Experience integrating analogue circuitry with high-speed digital devices (FPGAs, DSPs, microprocessors).
• Experience designing precision circuitry (op-amps, DACs, ADCs, voltage references).
• Understanding of control theory and open/closed-loop systems.
• Experience using E-CAD for schematic capture, PCB layout and simulation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test analogue, digital and mixed-signal electronics across the full product lifecycle.
• Support hardware integration testing, troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Use E-CAD tools for schematic capture, PCB layout and circuit/PCB simulation.
• Collaborate with Systems, Software, Mechanical and other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.
