Job summary

Electus Recruitment Solutions is seeking a talented electronics engineer to take ownership of complex analogue, digital and RF designs across a varied portfolio, from concept through to production. You will develop schematics, PCB layouts and manufacturing data for mixed signal hardware, and support prototypes, board bring-up, testing and validation activities.

Working with software, mechanical and project teams, you will drive continuous improvement and ensure robust, manufacturable solutions

Qualifications

• Experience designing mixed signal PCBs for commercial applications.
• Understanding EMC, grounding, power integrity and PCB layout best practices.
• Proven debugging, fault-finding and hardware validation experience.
• Prototype assembly, soldering and rework skills.
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation and engineering records.
• Experience with RF, embedded systems, FPGA development or software defined radio advantageous.
• Degree in Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
• Commercial electronic hardware design experience within a consultancy or product development environment.
• Strong analogue and digital circuit design capability.
• Experience using Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout.

Responsibilities

• Design analogue, digital and RF electronic systems for advanced technology applications.
• Develop schematics, PCB layouts and manufacturing data for mixed signal hardware.
• Support prototype development, board bring-up, testing and design validation activities.
• Work closely with software, mechanical and project teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Contribute to technical reviews, customer discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Take designs from early concepts through to manufactured products.
