Senior Electronics Engineer - Integrated Circuit Design

Newton Colmore is working with a leading technology innovator in Cambridge, and we are looking for an experienced electronics engineer to join their research and development team.

As a senior electronics engineer in this company, you will be responsible for the design and development of new ideas, from initial concept through to manufacture. You will manage your work through the entire product lifecycle, capturing, designing, developing, documenting, testing, and delivering prototypes using the company's rapid design approach.

This company designs and manufactures complex instruments and devices for the defence and security industries, including advanced communications, satellite technology, RADAR systems, and diagnostics and detection technologies. You will need to obtain UK security clearance to be considered for this role.

You should have a passion for electronics and problem-solving, coupled with strong academic background. Required experience includes familiarity with toolchains such as Vivado or Quartus, HDL languages like VHDL or SystemVerilog, and experience in simulations, testbenches, and hardware debugging.
