KO2 Embedded Recruitment Solutions Ltd is helping a County Durham engineering business to find a Senior Electronics Engineer. You’ll lead component-level analogue/digital design, take ownership from concept to volume production, and work in a hybrid WFH setup.

You’ll specify parts, design circuits, simulate, and validate with USB and Ethernet interfaces, ensuring reliability and EMC/EMI compliance. A relocation package is available.

Qualificações

• Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong track record in analogue and digital component-level design.
• Schematic capture and PCB design experience (Altium preferred).
• Solid understanding of EMC/EMI in design and test.
• Lab work with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and test gear.
• Experience with high-volume manufacturing is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Own designs from concept through to volume production.
• Design analogue, digital and mixed-signal circuits at component level.
• Capture schematics and define PCB requirements including materials and layer stack.
• Integrate designs at system level with interfaces such as USB, Ethernet, PCIe, CAN, SPI and I2C.
• Lead design reviews and collaborate with software/firmware teams.
