  2. Develop and refine schematics, simulations, and PCB layouts.
  3. Collaborate with mechanical engineers to address thermal and mechanical requirements.
  4. Perform DFMEA/PFMEA analysis to assess design risks.
  5. Conduct testing, verification, and validation to ensure compliance with product specifications.
  6. Work with external test houses for EMC compliance testing and pre-compliance evaluation.
  7. Produce detailed technical documentation, including test plans and reports.
  8. Support new product introduction (NPI) processes and project reviews.
  9. Implement continuous improvement initiatives within engineering processes.

Skills and Experience Required:

  3. Strong expertise in high-power DC/DC converters, buck/boost converters, and battery-powered systems (Li-ion/Lead Acid).
  4. Proficiency in circuit simulation software (Simulink, Simetrix, LTSpice).
  5. Understanding of data processing and analysis (MATLAB, Octave).
  6. Experience with analogue & digital circuit design, including current/voltage sensing and signal conditioning.
  7. Familiarity with PCB design software and PCB layout best practices.
  8. Strong knowledge of New Product Introduction (NPI), verification and validation (V&V), and design review processes (PDR/CDR/FAI).

Desirable:
  1. Experience in full-bridge, push-pull, and forward isolated converters.
  2. Knowledge of electric motor commutation design (star/delta configurations).
  3. Hands-on experience designing custom magnetics (skin effect, core losses, material properties).
  4. Understanding of control loop theory and system simulations.
  5. Proficiency in PCB CAD software (Altium).
  6. Familiarity with source control management (Git).

Benefits:
  1. Competitive salary, based on experience.
