We're looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer to bring technical expertise, innovation, and leadership to a dynamic team.

About the Role

As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering cutting-edge solutions for rolling stock projects. From design and development to testing and troubleshooting, you'll be involved in the full lifecycle of electronic systems engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and testing of electronic control and power equipment.
  • Produce and review technical documentation, including specifications, test plans, and reports.
  • Conduct engineering calculations and reliability predictions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards such as BS EN50155.
  • Perform FMEA and risk assessments for electronic systems.
  • Investigate system failures and identify root causes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Electronic Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in electronic hardware design and testing.
  • Proficiency with CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Seetrax XL) and circuit simulation software (e.g., Multisim).
  • Knowledge of EMC design principles.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
