Adecco Group UK & Ireland is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to join a leading manufacturing client. You will design analogue and digital PCBs, contribute across the full product lifecycle from concept to release, and drive compliance with UK, EU, and US standards.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, documentation, and collaboration with the Technical Manager to shape current and future electronic offerings across global markets.

Qualifications

• Degree in electronics or equivalent.
• Experience in analogue and digital PCB design.
• Familiarity with mains voltage safety considerations.
• CSCS card is desirable.
• Assembler/BASCOM/FlowCode knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with EasyPC is desirable.

What You'll Do:

• Play a crucial role in shaping both current and future electronic product offerings, reporting directly to the Technical Manager.
• Utilise your skills in analogue and digital PCB design to create cutting‑edge electronic products.
• Engage in the full product lifecycle, from concept generation through to product release, and deliver designs into service.
• Navigate the regulatory landscape of the UK, EU, and US, ensuring your designs meet all necessary compliance standards.
• Work hands‑on with your team to tackle challenges from first principles, fostering an environment of innovation and problem‑solving.
• Review, update, and potentially redesign existing electrical items to enhance quality and safety standards.
• Generate essential documentation, including wiring diagrams and build instructions, to guide manufacturing processes and support product testing throughout their lifecycle.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong background in analogue and digital PCB design, including Linear & Pulse Width Modulation Power Supplies, DC Motor Controls, and Battery Chargers.
• Proficient in fault finding to component level and safe practices regarding mains voltage primary transformers.
• Relevant Electronics Degree (or equivalent) and a CSCS card.
• Familiarity with Assembler/BASCOM/FlowCode programming languages is a plus.
• Experience in PCB design using EasyPC is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Ready to roll up your sleeves and get involved with hands‑on projects.
