In this role, you will design and test high-performance audio systems, collaborating closely with mechanical and software teams. Senior Electronics Design Engineer - High-End Audio Systems
Are you passionate about cutting-edge electronics design and high-performance audio systems? We're working with a leading audio tech company looking to bring a talented Senior Electronics Design Engineer into their R&D team.
In this role, you'll play a key part in designing the electronics behind some of the most respected HiFi and speaker systems on the market. You'll be involved from concept through to production - designing, simulating, prototyping, and testing circuits that bring exceptional sound to life.
Designing complex digital and analogue electronic circuits (FPGA, DSP, DAC/ADC, microprocessors)
Developing high-speed digital and power supply designs (both linear and switch-mode)
Simulating and testing amplifier and audio filter circuits
Taking projects through schematic capture, PCB layout, and system integration
Supporting EMC/ESD compliance and performing design reviews
Collaborating with software, mechanical, and test teams
Working with suppliers on RF components, PCB production, and custom parts
A strong background in electronics design, ideally with a focus on high-speed digital systems
Commercial experience designing complex electronic products
Knowledge of analogue circuit design and experience with EMC-sensitive applications
Comfortable debugging prototypes and using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analysers, etc.)
Proficient with ECAD tools - ideally Altium 360
Familiar with modern design tools (Confluence, Jira)
Experience in audio systems or RF design (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth) would be a bonus
Degree in Electronics Engineering (or related discipline)
Strong communication and collaboration skills
