Job description

Senior Electronics Design Engineer - High-End Audio Systems

Are you passionate about cutting-edge electronics design and high-performance audio systems? We're working with a leading audio tech company looking to bring a talented Senior Electronics Design Engineer into their R&D team.

In this role, you'll play a key part in designing the electronics behind some of the most respected HiFi and speaker systems on the market. You'll be involved from concept through to production - designing, simulating, prototyping, and testing circuits that bring exceptional sound to life.

What you'll be doing:

• Designing complex digital and analogue electronic circuits (FPGA, DSP, DAC/ADC, microprocessors)

• Developing high-speed digital and power supply designs (both linear and switch-mode)

• Simulating and testing amplifier and audio filter circuits

• Taking projects through schematic capture, PCB layout, and system integration

• Supporting EMC/ESD compliance and performing design reviews

• Collaborating with software, mechanical, and test teams

• Working with suppliers on RF components, PCB production, and custom parts

What we're looking for:

• A strong background in electronics design, ideally with a focus on high-speed digital systems

• Commercial experience designing complex electronic products

• Knowledge of analogue circuit design and experience with EMC-sensitive applications

• Comfortable debugging prototypes and using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analysers, etc.)

• Proficient with ECAD tools - ideally Altium 360

• Familiar with modern design tools (Confluence, Jira)

• Experience in audio systems or RF design (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth) would be a bonus

Requirements:

• Degree in Electronics Engineering (or related discipline)

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
