About Company/Role

Lynx Recruitment is working with an innovative life sciences company, originally spun out from a prestigious UK university. As Senior Electronics Engineer, you'll join a multidisciplinary R&D team developing sophisticated life science platforms. Their technology enables breakthrough discoveries in cancer research and immune diseases.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive electronics design from concept through prototype to manufacture
• Develop solutions focusing on: Data and signal processing on FPGAs and microprocessors (Verilog and C++) High-speed circuit design Control algorithms High-voltage signal generation
• Create schematics and PCB layouts (up to 6-layer)
• Develop Embedded low-level code
• Produce technical documentation
• Source components and manage supplier relationships

Required Skills

• Degree in Physics, Engineering or equivalent
• Proven experience with Electronic CAD (Altium preferred)
• Track record in complex product development
• Strong knowledge of communication protocols (RS, SPI, I²C, UART, CAN)
• Hands-on prototyping and troubleshooting abilities
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
