Job summary

AVD Appoint Ltd is seeking a Senior Electronics Design Engineer for a Berkshire-based role offering up to £85,000 plus benefits. You will act as a technical authority across digital and analogue electronics projects, with emphasis on IoT-oriented initiatives.

The ideal candidate has at least 8 years' experience, strong EMC/EMI knowledge, and hands-on design across USB, Ethernet, HDMI, CAN, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, and related wireless technologies.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years' experience as an Electronics Design Engineer or similar.
• Digital and analogue electronics design.
• EMC/EMI knowledge and testing experience.
• Experience with USB, Ethernet, HDMI, CAN, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth (BLE), 4G/5G, Zigbee/ Z‑Wave, LoRaWAN and NFC.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical authority on projects from specification through delivery.
• Work on digital and analogue electronics, with IoT focus.
• Review peers' work to ensure the best solution is chosen.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders.
