Job Description:

The Senior Electronics Design Engineer will work in the Avionics Business Unit alongside a multidisciplinary team, using an agile approach. This unit develops cutting-edge direction finding (Search & Rescue) and GPS anti-jam protection devices.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Deriving hardware requirements
• Electronics architecture and device down selection
• Design experience in analogue, digital, and power supply electronics
• Familiarity with high-speed ADC/DAC, JESD, RS-, UART, SPI, I2C interfaces
• Schematic entry (Altium preferred)
• Advice on PCB layout/design
• PCB bring-up and verification
• Design for manufacture, test, and cost
• Experience as a Senior/Principal engineer
• Strong lifecycle design experience with through-life cycle management (LCM)
• Experience with laboratory test equipment
• Hands-on approach
• Degree in Electronic Engineering or similar
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior or principal role
