Job title: Senior Electronics Design Engineer

Location: Glasgow, Scotland

Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum

Due to ongoing success and development, a world-class engineering organization based in Glasgow (Scotland), a global market leader in sectors such as Electronics, Industrial, and Instrumentation, is now actively seeking to hire 2 Senior Electronics Design Engineers to join the organization on a permanent basis. This role is available because of additional work and investment in the coming years for the Glasgow business office and the R&D roadmap. This Electronics Design Engineering role is ideal for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer or a mid-level Electronics Design Engineer who is looking for career progression and is ready to demonstrate their motivation to move to the senior position.

Work arrangement:

3-4 days working onsite and the rest WFH is available. Relocation assistance & sponsorship is also provided.

Key Skills:

• 3-5+ years industry experience
• Experience in the full product design lifecycle
• Electronics Circuit Design (analogue & digital)
• PID Controllers
• Knowledge & experience in PCB Design & Layout
• Network interfaces – SPI, I2C, USB, UART, RS232/485
• Good understanding of Design for Test (DFT) & Design for Manufacturing (DFM)
• Experience with product compliance & safety – EMC, LVD, CE Marking
• Experience debugging, simulating, and validating electronic and system designs
• Good communication and teamwork skills
