Company Overview and Role

Due to ongoing success and development, a world-class engineering organization based in Glasgow, specializing in Electronics, Industrial, Instrumentation, and more, is seeking to hire 2 Senior Electronics Design Engineers on a permanent basis. This role is suitable for Mid-level Engineers aiming for career progression and ready to demonstrate motivation for a senior position.

Work arrangement, relocation, and sponsorship

3-4 days onsite with the rest WFH. Relocation assistance and sponsorship are provided.

Salary

GBP 40,000 - GBP 55,000 per annum.

Key Skills

• 3-5+ years industry experience
• Experience in full product design lifecycle, board level design, mixed signal electronics
• Microcontroller, analog and digital circuit design experience
• Schematics Capture, PCB Layout, Altium or similar tools
• Network interfaces: SPI, I2C, USB, UART, RS232/485
• Design for test (DFT) and Design for manufacturing (DFM)
• Product compliance: EMC, LVD, CE Marking
• Debugging, simulation, validation, technical documentation
• Experience in an industrial environment and good communication skills

Nice to Have Skills

• PID control systems, Embedded C, FPGA (Verilog), Microcontrollers (STM32, ARM Cortex)
• Product lifecycle management (PLM), Agile, SAP, Oracle
• Toradex modules, test equipment development, mentoring junior engineers
