Xpertis Talent is seeking a hands-on senior electronics designer to join a mission-driven electronics team. You will own subsystems from requirements to verified hardware, including low-noise front-ends, power, MCU/FPGA-based control boards and cabling integration.

You will lead high-speed digital/FPGA design (Xilinx Zynq), PCB design in Altium 365, and ensure IPC-2221/IPC-7351 compliance. Degree in electrical engineering and 5+ years in instrumentation are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical/electronic engineering or closely related discipline.
• 5+ years of design engineering in instrumentation or test & measurement products.
• Experience with low-noise environments and mixed-signal design.
• Digital hardware design including MCU-based control boards and interfaces (Gigabit Ethernet, USB, SPI, I2C, UART, RS-485, CAN, PCIe).
• High-speed multi-layer PCB design and FPGA/SoC design on Xilinx Zynq (VHDL/Verilog).
• Schematic and PCB design in Altium 365 to IPC-2221/IPC-7351 with managed libraries and version control.
• DFMEA, verification plans & reports; design-for-manufacture with contract manufacturers.
• Hands-on PCBA bring-up and debugging with test equipment.
• EMC and product safety: IEC 61326-1 and IEC 61010-1.
• Cross-functional collaboration across optics, mechanics, firmware, software, and scientists.

Responsabilités

• Design and verify circuits for new instruments: low-noise analog front-ends, mixed-signal, power and control boards.
• Own high-speed digital and FPGA/SoC design; PCB design to IPC standards.
• Lead hardware architecture decisions for subsystems from concept to production release.
• Run the product-design process: requirements, design reviews, DFMEA, verification plans and reports.
• Prototype rapidly with breadboards and proto boards; validate concepts ahead of final PCBA spins.
• Bring up and debug boards with firmware; hand-solder and modify hardware as needed.
• Own electrical BOMs, datasheets and safety/EMC considerations; support DFM/DFA.
• Sustain released products: obsolescence, manufacturing and field issues, root-cause.
• Collaborate across teams to prove designs and resolve cross-functional issues.
