Thales UK is seeking an EW Systems Architect to define and recommend architectures for radar and EW solutions, balancing stakeholder expectations, technology options and costs. You will lead the engineering effort across the lifecycle, document architectures, manage interfaces, and support co-engineering and agile collaboration with customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Engineering or scientific degree is required with proven architecture and systems engineering experience.
• Leadership and initiative are essential; you are proactive and collaborative.
• Good communication and relationship skills with customers and teams are expected.

Responsibilities

• Define and recommend candidate architectures for the corresponding level to satisfy stakeholder expectations according to standards and roadmaps.
• Establish the solution architecture by balancing stakeholders, technical solutions, costs, risks and schedule; document artefacts.
• Assist in the solution development cycle and define the co-engineering approach.
• Manage requirements, performance evaluation and interfaces across the project lifecycle and negotiate with stakeholders.
