Job summary

Sapien Engineering in Yateley is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to design, test and support advanced analogue and digital electronics in a safety-critical environment.

You will develop low-power hardware, produce schematics and PCB layouts (Altium), and contribute to embedded C software while ensuring EMC compliance across the full lifecycle from concept to production.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Proven experience in analogue and digital electronics design.
• Experience producing technical documentation.
• PCB design experience using Altium Designer or similar.
• Embedded C programming experience.
• Knowledge of EMC principles and design for compliance.
• Background in regulated engineering or manufacturing environments.
• Experience in defence, aerospace, marine, automotive or safety-critical industries.
• Exposure to C++ and object-oriented programming.

Responsibilities
