Position: Senior Electronics Engineer

Location: UK (On-site/Hybrid depending on project needs)

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

A leading design and development consultancy is currently seeking an experienced Senior Electronics Engineer to join their innovative engineering team.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a broad spectrum of technically challenging projects across Industrial, Aerospace, Automotive, Subsea, and Defence sectors. Engineers in this team are involved from initial concept through to product delivery, giving them end-to-end exposure on complex and meaningful work.

This is a hands-on design engineering position, but for the right candidate, there is clear potential to progress into a Chief Engineer role and play a key part in the organisation’s senior leadership.

The ideal candidate will be able to interpret customer requirements and develop creative, effective design solutions. While previous leadership experience is beneficial, it’s not essential—those with strong technical foundations and a collaborative mindset are encouraged to apply.

Key Experience & Skills:

Candidates should ideally have expertise in several of the following:

• Analogue and digital electronic system design
• Embedded software development (e.g. Microcontrollers, Raspberry Pi)
• High-level software development (e.g. Windows-based applications)
• Product engineering and design lifecycle
• System-level fault diagnosis and troubleshooting

We’re looking for individuals with a track record in electronic design, solid problem-solving skills, and a proactive, adaptable approach.

Additional Requirements:

• A seasoned professional, likely to have been in a senior role for some years working in an electronics design role
• Must have valid UK Right to Work
• Must be eligible for UK security clearance
