Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to design and enhance electronic products from concept through PCB design and manufacture. You will lead testing and root-cause analysis of high-precision systems and work closely with directors on frequencies and analogue complexities in data acquisition.

The role offers remote work with flexi-time and a 7am–7pm window, a 10% profit-share bonus, private family medical, an 8% matched pension, and the chance to impact a growing

Qualifications

• Experience in sensor system design and testing.
• Strong DSP background or familiarity with DSP techniques.
• Experience with FPGA development using Xilinx and VHDL/Verilog.

Senior Electronics Design Engineer | £55-75k +bonus DOE | Remote

An opportunity has arisen at a company designing advanced sensing technology

They are offering the chance to solve complex challenges with a small, expert team and a rapidly growing product line. You will see the direct impact of your designs as they are deployed in challenging environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance electronic products from initial concept through to multi-layer PCB design and manufacture.
• Lead the testing, defect failure analysis, and root cause repair of high-precision systems.
• Work closely with technical directors to understand the frequencies and analogue complexities behind advanced data acquisition.

Technical Requirements

• Proven experience in the design and testing of sensor systems
• Strong background in DSP, or familiar with DSP techniques
• Expertise in schematic capture and multi-layer PCB design (ideally using Altium Designer).
• Experience developing Xilinx FPGAs in VHDL/Verilog, ideally using Vivado

Bonus Skills

• Proficiency in C/C++ or VHDL for embedded control
• Experience with power electronics
• Knowledge of signal processing using MATLAB or DSP techniques
