A leading technology firm in Sunbury-on-Thames is looking for a Senior Electronic Design Engineer to design and develop cutting-edge renewable energy systems. You will be responsible for designing and testing high reliability electronic circuits and PCBs, and guiding junior engineers. The ideal candidate has a minimum of a 2.1 degree in Electronics and 5+ years of relevant experience. Overview

Rewarding career move for a Senior Electronic Design Engineer with strong digital and analogue design skills for high reliability systems to contribute to the design and development of cutting edge renewable energy systems.

Applications are sought from academically strong Engineers with experience of DAC and ADC circuits, high bandwidth analog design, high speed digital design as well as some exposure to Embedded C, PCB design and IC design.

Responsibilities

As a key member of a multidisciplinary R&D team, the successful Senior Electronic Design Engineer will contribute to the conceptual stage of design and development, applying problem solving approaches and engineering theory to project challenges. You\'ll design and test analogue, digital and mixed signal electronic circuits and PCB\'s; support dFMEA and system integration - ensuring adherence to quality control and managing delivery of projects as well as providing guidance to junior engineers.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2.1 Bachelors Degree in Electronics or related discipline.
  • 5+ years commercial digital and analogue design experience.
  • Design of high reliability systems.
  • Some High speed digital design and high bandwidth analog design experience.
  • Experience of Digital to Analog and Analog to Digital converters.
  • PCB design.
  • Exposure to Embedded C, FPGA/VHDL, Communication protocols, Microcontrollers.
