Job Description:

Our client is a well-established developer of specialist electronic equipment. They are seeking an Electronic Hardware Engineer to join their team.

The Role

• Serve as the technical authority for hardware aspects of the product, including design verification and formal qualification.
• Drive innovation and process development within your scope of responsibility.
• Contribute to the design and verification of new components, products, and systems as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Support root cause analysis on issues with existing products when required.
• Assist the Sales team with technical proposals.
• Participate in peer review processes within the team.
• Provide technical mentorship to other engineers.

The Candidate

• Electronics engineering qualifications, ideally a degree.
• Proven skills in hardware design, with a PCB or electronic design bias.
• Experience using PCB CAD packages such as Eagle, OrCAD, or Altium.
• Practical experience designing electronic assemblies to meet EMC requirements is preferred.
• Experience supporting products throughout their lifecycle.
• Ability to obtain SC security clearance.

The Package:

Offering up to £60k basic salary, plus a competitive benefits package including 25 days holiday. Relocation assistance is available.
