Senior Electronic Design Engineer | £40-55k | Cardiff | Hybrid

Join a leader in electronic innovation! Our client is seeking a Senior Electronic Design Engineer to join its R&D team. You’ll play a key role in developing next-generation products, working on complex, high-impact projects that shape the future of technology.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design, development, and testing of electronic systems from concept to mass production.
2. Collaborate cross-functionally with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to meet project requirements.
3. Ensure compliance with EMC, ESD, and safety standards in all designs.
4. Mentor and support engineers.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• BSc in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Strong understanding of RF system design, or significant experience.
• Expertise in PCB design (Zuken, Altium, or KiCAD) & circuit simulation.
• Strong background in EMC/ESD testing & fault finding at the component level.
• Hands-on proficiency with test equipment & troubleshooting tools.

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge of home appliance products.
• Experience leading engineering teams & projects.
