Job Description:

We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Senior Electronic Design Engineer to join a state-of-the-art R&D company based in Cambridgeshire. You will work on a variety of cutting-edge development projects across industries such as Medical Devices, Consumer Electronics, Automation, Wireless Communications, IoT, Robotics, and autonomous tech. Most projects will focus on Medical Devices development.

You will join a friendly and supportive Electronics and Systems design team, involved in projects from concept to delivery.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Degree in electronic engineering, physics, or a relevant discipline, at least a 2.1 from a top university.
  • Strong understanding of analogue and digital circuit design.
  • Proficiency with electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers) and knowledge of design verification, compliance testing, and test automation.
  • Experience with schematic and PCB design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, KiCad, Eagle).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for development and testing phases.
  • Familiarity with EMC standards, measurements, and design considerations for EMC compliance.

Location: Cambridgeshire (commutable from Peterborough, Cambridge)
