Job Title: Senior Maintenance Electrician

Salary: £36,395 per annum + £6,000 allowance plus benefits

Location: South Mimms, Hertfordshire

Contract: Full Time/Permanent

We are currently looking for a Senior Maintenance Electrician to join our Infrastructure & Laboratory Services function within the Corporate group.

The post is responsible for carrying out electrical work to support the specialist areas of the South Mimms site and coordinating and completing the planned preventative maintenance programme for the specialist plant and equipment. The postholder will investigate and respond to faults and unscheduled tasks as they occur, on a priority basis, and resolve or propose solutions to rectify faults so that the site continues to function safely.

The successful candidate will have:

1. Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation or Maintenance
2. Demonstrated competence in Inspection and Testing
3. Qualification in the Certification of Electrical Installations (2391) or periodic inspections (2394/5)
4. A BS7671 qualification to the 18th Edition
5. Significant experience in a Maintenance or Building Services environment within a hospital, research, or production facility
