Job summary

BSI is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join our Loughborough laboratory. You will conduct testing on electrical and electronic products, ensuring safety, performance and timely delivery, while preparing clear test reports and supporting project quotations.

This role requires hands-on lab work, adherence to ISO 17025, and the ability to train others and lead testing activities. You will work Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week, in a collaborative environment that values quality, customer

Qualifications

• HNC/HND in Electrical/Engineering or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of ISO 17025 and testing standards.
• Ability to write clear, concise test reports.
• Strong communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing across electrical/electronic products with quality and timeliness.
• Maintain test records and produce reports promptly.
• Support quotations and project delivery in the lab.
• Train and mentor colleagues on procedures and standards.
• Interact with clients to provide technical support.
