Job Opportunity: Senior Electrical Project Manager
Location: London / Southeast
Salary: £90,000 – £110,000 + Package

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to join our growing delivery team. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in a major £30M+ Life Science project, currently at pre-construction stage, with a long-term pipeline of high-profile work across the UK. You’ll report directly to the Operations Manager and take the lead in managing Project Managers and delivery teams across all phases of execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project delivery from pre-construction through to handover, with oversight of programme, quality, health & safety, and commercial performance.

  
  

• Directly manage Project Managers, subcontractors, and site teams across all project phases.

  
  

• Interpret and extract information from technical drawings and specifications to support accurate costing and planning.

  
  

• Oversee procurement of materials, monitor stock levels, manage deliveries, and supervise appropriate hire goods.

  
  

• Carry out inductions, daily briefs, toolbox talks, issue RAMS, and enforce H&S protocols in line with company IMS systems.

  
  

• Liaise with clients, consultants, and design teams—resolving issues, coordinating works, and ensuring project alignment at all stages.

  
  

• Prepare and submit technical documentation, submittals, commissioning schedules, and O&M manuals.

  
  

• Monitor project progress, produce accurate reports, and attend client and internal progress meetings.

  
  

• Ensure as-installed drawings, logbooks, and operation guides are produced and submitted accurately and on time.

  
  

• Foster collaborative, professional relationships with clients, end users, and internal stakeholders alike.

  
  ✅ About You:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Electrical Project Management within the construction sector.

    
    

  • Electrically biased background—time-served Electrician, Electrical Engineer, or equivalent.

    
    

  • Proven track record delivering complex projects from start to finish.

    
    

  • Strong communicator, adept at team leadership, conflict resolution, and stakeholder engagement.

    
    

  • Deep knowledge of H&S, commissioning, procurement, and testing processes.

    
    

  • Highly organised, detail-driven, and solutions-oriented.
