Job summary

Salter Grange Limited seeks an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the electrical package on a hyperscale data centre project. You will partner with the Project Director, engineers, subcontractors and the client to ensure safe, high-quality, on-time delivery.

This senior role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of electrical building services, and proven ability to manage cross-disciplinary teams through installation, commissioning and handover.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager on major construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical building services and construction delivery.
• Experience with HV/LV systems, UPS, generators, switchgear and critical power infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of the electrical scope from construction through to commissioning and handover.
• Manage electrical subcontractors, suppliers, engineers and site teams.
• Coordinate electrical works with mechanical, CSA, commissioning and other project disciplines.
• Oversee installation of HV/LV distribution, switchgear, transformers, UPS, generators, busbar, containment and associated systems.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
• Manage programme, progress, resources, procurement and project reporting.
• Review drawings, specifications, technical documentation and method statements.
• Manage inspections, testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Lead coordination meetings and resolve technical and delivery issues.
• Work closely with the client, design team and project leadership to achieve key milestones.
