Job summary

Emtec Group in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to lead electrical building services projects from pre-construction through delivery. You will manage programmes, budgets, and teams, coordinating with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.

The role demands strong leadership, commercial awareness and excellent communication. A full UK driving licence and relevant industry qualifications are required, with a competitive benefits package and car

Qualifications

• Strong experience managing electrical building services projects.
• A solid understanding of electrical systems, installations and associated building services.
• Experience delivering projects within an M&E or building services contractor environment.
• Strong leadership skills and the confidence to manage teams and subcontractors.
• Good commercial awareness and an understanding of project costs, variations and contractual requirements.
• Excellent communication and client management skills.
• A practical, organised and solutions-focused approach.
• Relevant industry qualifications and a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Taking overall responsibility for the delivery of electrical building services projects.
• Managing project programmes, budgets, resources and key milestones.
• Leading and supporting Project Managers, Engineers, Supervisors and site teams.
• Working closely with commercial teams to monitor project performance, costs and variations.
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams to keep projects moving.
• Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and other project stakeholders.
• Managing project risks, issues and opportunities.
• Ensuring high standards of health & safety, quality and compliance throughout delivery.
• Providing regular project updates and forecasts to senior management.
