Senior Electrical Project Engineer - Permanent Role in London - Hybrid - Global Intralogistics Company

Are you an experienced Electrical Project Engineer looking to make an impact on exciting automation projects? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a global market leader in intralogistics and material handling, working on a wide range of cutting-edge projects. As part of a global engineering network, you’ll have the chance to collaborate with over 1,000 engineers, gaining exposure to diverse challenges and innovative solutions.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing electrical circuits and layouts for intralogistics systems. This technical and hands-on position requires close collaboration with project leaders to ensure designs meet high standards, deliver results on time, and provide value to customers both in the UK and internationally. You will create and specify electrical control installations, including cabinets, field wiring, cable layouts, and power distribution. Attention to detail is essential as you handle power calculations, design control layouts, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and legislation.

Candidates should have experience in electrical design for industrial installations, familiarity with tools like AutoCAD or Eplan, and knowledge of industrial networks such as ProfiNet or Profibus. A background in electro-technology or energy technology is advantageous. Experience with material handling systems is a plus but not essential.
