Kier Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join our internal MEP business, Kier Mechanical & Electrical (KME).

KME collaborates internally and with regional construction teams to deliver MEP solutions across various sectors.

Location: Solihull, West Midlands

Hours: Full time, Permanent

As a Senior Electrical Project Engineer, you will oversee the installation of electrical components on assigned projects.

Responsibilities include:
  • Ensuring all work complies with Kier standards, UK law, safety, quality, and statutory requirements.
  • Collaborating with design teams and clients to optimize designs for safety, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Managing project controls such as change, risk, opportunity, and quality assurance.
  • Leading and supporting project team members, setting clear expectations, and promoting a 'one team' approach.
  • Delivering projects within agreed timeframes and budgets, meeting commercial and quality targets.
  • Maintaining accurate records and demonstrating sound decision-making aligned with commercial priorities.
Requirements:
  • Technical expertise in Electrical Services and safety, with relevant industry qualifications.
  • CSCS and SMSTS accreditation at minimum.
