Job summary

Salter Grange Limited is seeking an experienced Electrical Package Manager to take ownership of the electrical package on a major data centre project in Vienna, Austria. You will work with the Project Manager, engineering, commercial and construction teams, as well as the client and subcontractors, to deliver the package safely, on programme, within budget and to quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience with a recognised construction contractor.
• Proven experience as Electrical Package Manager or similar.
• Experience managing electrical packages on large-scale projects.
• Data centre or mission-critical experience is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Primavera/Project planning software and CAD/BIM processes.
• Excellent organisational, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery and coordination of the Electrical Package from installation through to handover.
• Manage electrical subcontractors, including onboarding, progress, manpower and performance.
• Coordinate electrical works with the project programme and key milestones.
• Drive EHS and QA/QC standards across the electrical package.
• Review drawings, specifications, IFC information and technical requirements.
• Coordinate RFIs, technical queries, design changes and BIM/CAD requirements.
• Manage package-level snagging, punch lists, documentation and close-out.
• Support commercial management of labour, materials, plant, variations and valuations.
• Work closely with the QS and commercial team on variations and change management.
• Prepare and assess subcontractor and supplier tender packages.
• Attend project, engineering, planning, coordination and client meetings.
• Provide regular progress reports, highlighting risks, delays and key issues.
• Ensure successful completion of O&M documentation, as-builts and final handover.
