Job summary

Qualifications

• Attained City and Guilds Advanced Craft certified qualification or NVQ level 3 plus an apprenticeship.
• Willing and able to participate in ongoing training within NHS Maintenance services.
• Attained or working towards a recognised BTEC/HNC or equivalent.
• Completed and hold a recognised Supervisory/Leadership/Management qualification.
• Relevant NHS Technical Qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance work on LV electrical systems in a safe, high-quality manner across the full range of plant and equipment.
• Interpret technical manuals, diagnose faults, repair and test electrical installations and building elements.
• Plan and organise maintenance work, supervise staff and coordinate with trades and contractors.
• Maintain records, ensure building fabric integrity, and adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Be able to undertake training to develop core trade areas and support emergency/rota duties.
