Job summary

Suir Engineering is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to join the EP&R team in our Waterloo, London office. You will manage the preparation, submission and management of electrical tenders, ensuring accurate net costs per client specifications and subcontract documents.

Responsibilities include quantifying resources, evaluating bids from subcontractors, preparing risk registers and tender documentation, and presenting packages for adjudication.

Qualifications

• Reading, interpreting and understanding specifications and drawings.
• Numeracy and literacy skills required for accurate estimations.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with clients, suppliers and internal teams.
• Ability to work as part of a team and to tight deadlines.
• Proactive planning and prioritisation to manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Quantify material, plant and labour requirements for allocated electrical projects.
• Assess tenders from subcontractors and specialists.
• Prepare project risk registers at tender stage.
• Produce tender documentation and summaries for adjudication.
• Attend pre-contract meetings and post-tender interviews.
• Liaise with suppliers/subcontractors during tender submission.
