Senior Electrical Engineer –West London
Location: West London
Salary: £57,000
Shifts: 6am–6pm Continental Shift Pattern (Days & Nights)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join a world-class Critical Data Centre facility located in West London. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a highly technical and mission-critical environment with a global client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and critical infrastructure within the data centre
- Oversee PPM and reactive maintenance across HV/LV systems
- Support with electrical switching and isolations in line with safe systems of work
- Work closely with the engineering team and subcontractors to ensure service continuity and uptime
- Provide leadership and mentoring to junior engineers during shifts
Requirements:
- Proven experience working in a critical environment (preferably data centres)
- Recognised electrical qualifications (City & Guilds Level 3, 18th Edition, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, UPS, generators, and building services
- Ability to work 12-hour continental shifts, both days and nights
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
