Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its Water team across multiple UK locations, including London, High Wycombe, Reading, Brighton or Southampton. You will deliver EICA solutions for major clean water and wastewater programmes, working with project managers and multidisciplinary teams from concept through to construction.

You will mentor graduates, develop technical designs, and contribute to robust, sustainable solutions that support regulatory targets and community

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience delivering electrical or EICA design in the water/utilities/infrastructure sector.
• Experience producing electrical calculations, technical specifications and design documentation.
• Knowledge of low voltage electrical systems and control philosophies.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status or progression towards registration.
• Experience participating in HAZOPs and design reviews.
• Knowledge of DSEAR requirements and hazardous area design.
• Experience using digital engineering tools and modern design methodologies.

We're looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Water team based in London, High Wycombe, Reading, Brighton or Southampton. Working on major clean water and wastewater programmes, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects from concept through to construction. About The Role

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll play an important role in delivering EICA solutions across a wide variety of water infrastructure projects. You'll work closely with project managers, clients and multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, sustainable engineering solutions.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

ABOUT YOU

Essential

• Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience delivering electrical or EICA design within the water sector or comparable infrastructure, utilities or industrial environments.
• Experience producing electrical calculations, technical specifications and design documentation.
• Knowledge of low voltage electrical systems and control philosophies.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Desirable

• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer, or actively working towards professional registration.
• Experience participating in HAZOPs and design reviews.
• Knowledge of DSEAR requirements and hazardous area design.
• Experience using digital engineering tools and modern design methodologies.
