We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Water team in the South of England, with hybrid working options. This role can be based in Brighton, Ashford, Kings Hill, or Southampton.

At Stantec, we are expanding rapidly, partnering with top water clients across the UK on impactful projects that support sustainable development and climate change mitigation.

You will be involved in the entire project lifecycle, from Front-End Engineering Design to detailed design, installation, construction support, and consultancy work.

Opportunities include projects in Water, Wastewater, Energy, Infrastructure, and Environmental sectors.

Current Projects

• Thames Water – Managed HS2 design assurance, infrastructure design, and assessments.
• Southern Water – Water for Life Hampshire project.
• Severn Trent Water – Major schemes support and PR24.
• Wessex Water & South West Water – Several AMP8 frameworks.

About You

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related; on track for Chartership or Incorporated status; experience in EICA design.
• Skilled in writing technical specifications, control philosophies, schedules, reports, and collaborative design reviews.
• Proficient in producing Single Line Diagrams, Control Diagrams, Network Infrastructure Diagrams, and providing engineering input for general arrangements, 3D models, and P&ID diagrams.
• Experience in the water sector is preferred but experience in energy, infrastructure, or environmental sectors is also valued.
