Job summary

Arup is seeking Senior Electrical Engineers with a water background to join our MEICA team in the UK. You will contribute to the winning and delivery of projects across Energy, Water and Resources sectors, providing expertise in electrical and control systems design across a diverse portfolio.

You will work closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative, sustainable solutions, ensuring quality, schedule and budget alignment while advancing Arup’s low-carbon, resilient

Qualifications

• Strong background in electrical design for water/wastewater projects.
• Ability to produce and interpret detailed design documentation and drawings.
• Experience with industry-standard design tools (e.g. Trimble).
• Understanding of Electrical and/or Control Systems engineering with specialist knowledge in at least one area.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary projects and strong knowledge of CDM regulations.
• Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline; professional registration (IEng/CEng).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to winning and delivering projects across the UK in Energy, Water and Resources sectors.
• Develop innovative and sustainable electrical and control system designs.
• Provide technical guidance on electrical and control systems across a varied project portfolio.
• Support delivery of projects to agreed quality, programme and budget requirements.
