As the business grows from strength to strength, we are now looking to further extend our team by recruiting a senior electrical engineer, to be based out of our Stockport office with UK and some EU travel.

Responsibilities / Qualifications

We are looking for:

• a good degree in Electrical or Power Systems engineering.
• significant experience gained, post university, of electrical power generation/transmission infrastructure to include design, project management and commissioning.
• experience in HV, MV and LV, embedded generation, protection circuits, grid connections, HV and LV switchgear, substations, switchyards and coordinating with UK DNOs.
• deals professionally with external and internal clients, attends project meetings, writes and delivers high quality technical reports and models, etc.
• prior experience with the use of electrical engineering sector software.
• the undertaking of feasibility, due diligence and design reviews.
• excellent understanding of health, safety and welfare within engineering.
• witnessing of both site and factory acceptance testing.
• the provision of site-based construction monitoring in the UK or Ireland.
• able to work as part of a wider engineering team and also to operate autonomously as required.
