Job summary

Technical Partners, working with a leading engineering organisation in the nuclear and energy sector, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Epsom. The role involves technical ownership across projects from feasibility to commissioning and requires strong leadership and HV expertise.

Hybrid working with three days in the office, salary up to £67,000 DOE, and comprehensive benefits. You will mentor engineers, review deliverables, manage risk, liaise with stakeholders, and contribute to safety

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Significant experience in safety-critical environments.
Experience leading technical delivery and mentoring engineers.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, networks and equipment.
Experience with MV/LV power distribution systems.
Excellent technical report writing and documentation.
Strong communication across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Lead design, analysis and optimization of electrical systems across the project lifecycle.
Deliver activities from feasibility through FEED and detailed design.
Produce feasibility studies, calculations, reports, specs, models and drawings.
Provide specialist advice on medium/high voltage systems and equipment.
Design and substantiate MV and LV power distribution networks.
Support construction, commissioning and operations.
Mentor less experienced engineers and guide the team.
Manage design changes and technical risks throughout delivery.
