Job summary

WSP in Glasgow/Edinburgh is seeking an experienced MEP Design Lead to join our Building Services team. You will lead a multidisciplinary MEP group, deliver projects to client expectations, and shape feasibility studies with senior colleagues.

The role requires Chartered engineer status or active progression, Revit MEP expertise, and strong ability to engage with clients and contractors. Hybrid UK office-based work is available.

Qualifications

BEng/Bsc/MEng in applicable engineering discipline.
CIBSE / IET / Engineering Council Chartership or working towards it.
RevitMEP training applied to the discipline.
Proven track record delivering projects of varying scale and sector.

Responsibilities

Lead a joint leadership capacity within a mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) discipline team.
Provide design and technical advice in a project manager capacity.
Review design programmes and ensure resource availability to meet delivery timelines.
Direct others in production of detailed designs and performance specifications.
Develop and line manage junior staff.
Engage with clients, contractors and design teams in technical discussions and coordination.
