Job summary

Certain Advantage is partnering with a key client to recruit a Senior Electrical Engineer to support infrastructure and asset development at a major dockyard facility in the South West. The role offers UK-based work with 2–3 days work-from-home and a Monday-to-Friday pattern.

You will gather client requirements, design and upgrade LV/HV electrical systems, review technical documents, and ensure compliance with IEC/IEEE standards and safety regulations. Virtual interview available.

Qualifications

• Experience in regulated sectors such as nuclear, maritime, infrastructure, or oil and gas.
• Design, modification and scoping of LV/HV networks, lighting and power distribution.
• Understanding of IEC and IEEE electrical standards and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements and deliver electrical engineering expertise for the client.
• Define project scope, develop designs and propose upgrades or new systems.
• Oversee the project lifecycle from concept to delivery, commissioning and support.
• Review and sign off technical documents for safety and compliance.
