Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead electrical building services for healthcare projects in the UK and beyond. You will shape low‑carbon strategies, drive high‑quality digital delivery and act as a client‑facing technical lead across multi‑disciplinary teams.

You will contribute to chartership development, mentor engineers and manage design concepts, calculations and drawings to meet UK healthcare standards while working with flexible, hybrid arrangements.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated track record delivering electrical building services for healthcare or high‑resilience projects.
• Experience leading technical delivery and client engagement with a cross‑disciplinary team.
• Eligibility for corporate membership (MCIBSE/MIET/MIHEEM) with chartership support from Ramboll.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical leadership for electrical building services from concept to handover.
• Lead digital delivery and MEP coordination using Revit/BIM 360 and related tools.
• Interact with clients, chair technical workshops and maintain relationships.
• Mentor engineers and coordinate with multi‑disciplinary colleagues.
• Manage project scope, resources, and risks across UK and international projects.
