Kier Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join Kier Mechanical & Electrical, the internal MEP self-delivery business within Kier.

This role will operate in the south, covering projects between Southampton and Portsmouth.

Location: Hampshire, Southampton, and Portsmouth

Hours: Full-time, Permanent, with flexible working options available

Salary: £70,000 to £75,000, including Car Allowance, Healthcare, Pension, and other flexible benefits

Responsibilities

• Ensure all works are procured, planned, and executed safely, in line with Kier standards, project requirements, and UK law.
• Review designs with teams and clients for compliance, efficiency, and safety, implementing quality control procedures.
• Manage project risks, opportunities, and changes to maintain project integrity and efficiency.
• Provide leadership to project teams, ensuring clear expectations, accurate reporting, and timely project completion within budgets.
• Support collaboration and team development within Kier’s "one team" model to meet objectives.

Candidate Profile

• Proven technical expertise in Electrical Services and safety, with relevant industry qualifications.
• CSCS and SMSTS accreditation at minimum.
• Willingness to learn and grow, with training and progression opportunities provided.
