Are you an experienced electrical engineer with a passion for innovation, sustainability, and design excellence? We’re looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join a dynamic and collaborative team working on technically exciting projects across multiple sectors.
This is a permanent, full-time position within a forward-thinking company that supports growth and development.
With offices through the Midlands, South East and Southwest there are many locations to be based from.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead electrical design projects from concept through to completion
Act as Project Leader or key contributor on various projects
Attend client meetings and present technical solutions confidently
Support and mentor junior engineers, managing their work on shared projects
Promote high technical standards across the electrical discipline
Develop trusted relationships with clients and contribute to repeat business
Deliver high-quality designs using industry-standard tools and software
Produce technical drawings, specifications, and calculations
Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment
Contribute to sustainable, innovative design solutions across diverse sectors
Candidate Requirements:
Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (Chartered or working towards)
Candidates with HNC/HND and strong experience will also be considered
4-8 years+ post-qualification experience in building services design
Strong knowledge of British & European Standards, Building Regs, and HTMs
Membership with a relevant professional body (CIBSE, IET)
Understanding of HV/LV systems, embedded generation, renewable technologies
Familiarity with BREEAM and low-carbon design strategies
Confident communicator with the ability to represent the business externally
Team player with a proactive and adaptable mindset
