The Opportunity

Working in a multi-disciplinary environment, our electrical engineers aim to design buildings that maximize value for our clients while minimizing environmental impact. We are recruiting Electrical Engineers with excellent design and technical skills at various career stages to join our Building Services team in Manchester. You will join a collaborative team of over 35 engineers and technicians in Manchester and a wider team of 100+ engineers and technicians within the North West & Yorkshire region.

Our Electrical Engineers are involved in all project stages, from feasibility to completion. We work across sectors, including healthcare, data centers, labs, commercial, residential, education, energy, sports, and mixed-use developments. Current projects include North Manchester General Hospital and Manchester Town Hall, allowing you to see your work come to life. If you have experience in similar projects, we want to hear from you.

Is this role right for you?

We seek Electrical Engineers who can apply their expertise to shape our projects. You should have a background in electrical building services design and experience across various project scales and building types. Our engineers contribute to the digital transformation of our business, exploring automation and offering innovative services through our integrated digital design approach. If you are passionate about design and interested in architecture and sustainable building design, this role is for you.

Depending on your experience, you may lead electrical building services design on projects, mentor junior engineers, manage small teams, and develop client relationships. We welcome engineers at different career stages with relevant sector experience.

Requirements:

• Chartered status
• Knowledge of UK codes & standards
• Commitment to professional development and seeking stimulating work
• Experience with BIM environment using Revit
• BSc in Electrical Engineering or similar
